LED is our bread!

Un servizio attivo 365 giorni all'anno,  numerosi punti vendita a Venezia , e una fornitura quotidiana di pane fresco. Sono questi i cardini dell'azienda Mayer Venezia, il cui slogan "un momento di dolcezza e sapore quotidiano sono ciò che fa dimenticare tutto il resto", ci invita a scoprirne la varietà dei prodotti. Dal gusto semplice del pane fresco alla delicatezza dei dolci e della pasticceria, fino ad arrivare al sapore intenso del caffè e dei vini. Dietro la filosofia del marchio, le abili mani del pasticciere giapponese Taku Oyamada e la sua personale creatività costituiscono il valore aggiunto all'unione della tradizione italiana con quella orientale: un progetto in continua evoluzione. 

Perchè la scelta dei LED?

Passare dall'illuminazione tradizionale alla tecnologia LED è stata una scelta spontanea per il marchio Mayer. Nella vendita al dettaglio, è importantissima la presentazone del prodotto, e la luce gioca un ruolo fondamentale. L'illuminazione determina la visibilità del prodotto, ma le lampade alogene,  soprattutto se a stretto contatto, riscaldano il prodotto, alterandone le caratteristiche e la qualità. I vantaggi delle luci a LED le rendono ancora una volta le lampade più competitive sul mercato, sia dal punto di vista della convenienza sia della resa di luminosità. La potenza della luce a LED non emette alcun calore e l' energia in termini di Watt è maggiore, se paragonata all'alogena, e il consumo è ridotto dell'85%. Per non parlare poi della durata: ben 50.000 ore di prestazione (contro le 6.000 dell' alogena), nessuna esigenza di manutenzione, che risulterebbe non poco fastidiosa soprattutto se il negozio è pieno di clienti.

Un pochino di storia...

L'avventura cominciò nel 1924 quando una famiglia di origini tedesche residente nelle valli intorno a  Cortina nelle Dolomiti, si spostò a Venezia in cerca di fortuna. Arrivati nella città lagunare, aprirono un forno, e da quei giorni ad oggi si ripete la tradizione che accompagna generazioni di veneziani con la croccantezza e la fragranza del pane di qualità Mayer.

Behind the philosophy of the brand,  the skilled hands of the Japanese pastry chef  Taku Oyamada and his personal creativity gives more value to the connection of the Italian tradition with Eastern Asia: an evolving project. 

The reason of choosing LED technology.

Change traditional lighting with LED technology has been a spontaneous choice for the brand Mayer. In retail, it's extremely important how te product is presented and displayed, and the light plays a significant role in selling. Lighting deals with the visibility of the product, but the halogen lamps, especially if put closer to the product, by heating it the quality and characteristics are alterated. The advantages of LED lights permit once again to be the most competitive lamps in the market, both from the point of view of the convenience and yield of light. The power of the LED light does not emit any heat and power not only in terms of Watts is greater, when compared to halogen, and the expend power is 85% less. Not to mention the duration: more than 50,000 hours of performance (compared to 6,000 of halogen lamp), any need for maintenance, which would be more than a little annoying, especially if the store is full of customers.

A little bit of history...

The adventure began in 1924 when a family with German origins living in the valleys around Cortina in the Dolomites, moved to Venice looking for fortune. Arrived in the lagoon city, they opened a bakery, and from that time until today continues the tradition that generations of Venetians with the crunchiness of the bread and the fragrance of quality Mayer.

Firenze s'illumina ...a LED

I colori dell'estate hanno invaso le strade e le piazze principali del capoluogo toscano, dando vita a una vera e propria esplosione di originalità. Ciò è avvenuto grazie all'impegno e alla creatività degli studenti dell'Istituto IED, che durante il corso di "Visual Merchandising" e "PR Fashion Events" hanno collaborato all'organizzazione dell'evento "Urban Curiosity", volto alla promozione del marchio fiorentino di T-shirt, Colorised - For original use only. Gli studenti hanno realizzato l'installazione dedicata al merchandising delle T-shirts marchiate Colorised attraverso l'utilizzo di materiali eco-friendly, incorniciando le magliette come delle vere e proprie opere d'arte. Questa volta la collaborazione con l'Istituto ha interessato la sezione dell'illuminazione a LED, cui abbiamo messo a disposizione per l'evento. Il risultato? Una luce pulita di colori, in perfetto accorto con lo spirito del brand emergente. Un sincero ringraziamento all'Istituto IED di Firenze, a tutti i professori e studenti, e un grande in bocca al lupo al marchio Colorised!

Summer colors invaded the main streets and squares of the most important city in Tuscany, giving a freshness sense of originality explosion. This was happening in Florence, thanks to the students and professors of IED, European Institute of Design, with whom we already had a collaboration also in Venice. The students of the summer course in "Visual Merchandising" and "Fashion PR Events" have organised a great final course event called "Urban curiosity" promoting the florentine brand Clorised - For original use only. The student created an installation dedicated to the visul merchandising of Colorised T-shirts by using eco-friendly materials and that frame give to the product the sense of a masterpiece of art. This time the collaboration with IED has involved the LED lighting section. By provinding them a 5 meter long LED strip the brightness and the colourful power of LED light, the spirit of Colorised brand came up in a colour explosion. 

A special thanks to the Institute and all the students and the professors of IED, that made a great effort by organizing the event, and a special greeting to Colorised brand: we wish you a bright future!

Rosa dei Venti-LED

Questa lampada nasce da un'attenta e scrupolosa mediazione di stili diversi che sposa il mare con la montagna. L' idea è nata da un albergo in montagna dove gli spicchi di legno incollati al soffitto,  attorno alla plafoniera formavano una stella alpina. Tornati nella laguna di Venezia, abbiamo deciso di riportare l' idea nella tradizione dell' arte marinara, creando una rosa dei venti in legno di abete, dipinta di bianco e di blu e rigorosamente illuminata a LED.
La lampada è vendibile in kit di varie dimensioni e diversi colori, con luci a LED per soddisfare le esigenze dei clienti.

 

The idea of this lamp is born by a scrupulous mediation of differnt styles that combine both mountain and sea. The inspiration came out during a day trip in a mountain resort hotel in which there were an edelweiss made of wood attached to the ceiling. Once back in Venice, we decided to put the idea into the maritime art tradition by creating a compass rose made of spruss wood, painted in black and dark blue strictly lit by LED bulbs.

The lamp is available in kit of different colours and sizes with LED lights included.

LED in a boat

L'illuminazione a LED conquista il mondo della nautica a macchia d' olio. Le applicazioni sono infinite, ma il meccanismo è semplice. Basta sostituire le classiche lampadine alogene con i dispositivi a LED in grado di rendere una maggior quantità di luce riducendo nettamente il consumo in termini di Watt. Nel caso specifico di questa imbarcazione a vela abbiamo installato una striscia luminosa lungo tutto il boma, e la sera cenare diventa un piacere da gustare in compagnia...

LED illumination reach like wildfire the nautical world. A thousends of applications, but using a very easy method. Just replace the alogen lamps with LED lights and you can easily see how brighter is the effect and how much you can save in terms both of money and Watt. In the pictures above the sailing boat is lighted with LED strips throughout the boom, having dinner at night becomes a pleasant time to spend in good company...

Luci a LED in barca a vela

In barca l' impianto elettrico a 12 Volt in corrente continua è perfetto per le luci a LED. Sostituite le alogene con le luci a LED, i consumi si riducono del 60%. Le batterie ringraziano le luci a LED, l' armatore è contento e può dormire tranquillamente con qualche luce accesa in più. 

Soluzioni "luminose"

Ecco a voi la creazione di oggi: una piccola, versatile e luminosissima lampada da interni a led per una delle barche ospitate dal nostro cantiere. Per venire incontro alle esigenze del nostro cliente, lampade come queste sono collocate in vari punti dell’imbarcazione, dando vita ad un ambiente interno accogliente, ben  illuminato e a basso consumo energetico.

La struttura esterna è in ottone, per un design semplice ed elegante.

La lampada ad incandescenza è stata sostituita da un dispositivo led da 12 volt a torretta, attacco G4.

Here for you today's creation: a small, versatile and bright interior lamp. It was assembled for one of the boats lodged in our shipyard. To meet our customer's needs, lamps like this have been placed in different spots of the boat to create a warm, well-lit up and of low energetic consumption internal environment.

The external structure is made of brass to make the design simple and elegant.

The bulb has been replaced with a 12 volt tower type LEDs device, G4 connection.

La sicurezza dei LED

La tecnologia gioca a favore della sicurezza e dell' ambiente: l'illuminazione a LED nelle lampade di emergenza ad esempio garantisce luce anche in caso di terremoto. In Giappone, dove i terremoti sono frequenti, si usano i LED per illuminare case e palazzi. I LED infatti, a differenza delle lampade a incandescenza o a basso consumo, continuano a funzionare anche in caso di rottura del vetro diffusore esterno. Inoltre il loro consumo di energia limitato permette un considerevole risparmio in caso di crisi energetica. A seguito dei tragici fatti di Fukushima, un gran numero di aziende nipponiche ha deciso la conversione all'illuminazione a LED per incrementare la sicurezza e diminuire gli sprechi e i costi.

Technology teams with safety and environment: LEDs lighting of emergency lamps, for instance, grants light supply even in case of earthquake. In Japan, known for its recurring earthquakes, LEDs are used to light houses and buildings. LEDs actually, unlike incandescent lamps and low consumption bulbs, keep working even if the external diffuser glass breaks. Moreover, their limited energy consumption allows a consistent conservation in case of energy crisis. After the tragic facts in Fukushima, a considerable number of Japanese companies decide to convert to LED lighting to increase safety and cut waste and costs.

Illuminazione a LED

Continuano le applicazioni a LED, stiamo sviluppando diversi progetti utili a soddisfare le esigenze degli armatori:

Queste lampadine consumano molto meno rispetto le alogene (1 Watt per LED), hanno basso voltaggio (12 Volt). LA linea a 12 Volt trova applicazioni in barche e camper, la serie a 220 Volt è ottima per le case vista la riduzione dei consumi sulla bolletta..
