Il bottazzo è una sorta di parabordo lungo tutta la murata dell' imbarcazione il quale consente di "parare" eventuali colpi durante l' ormeggio, si intuisce la robustezza necessaria da conferire a questo tipo di struttura. In questo caso la carpenteria è stata costruita in acciaio, in modo tale da evitare eventuali colate di ruggine al di sotto del bottazzo. A seguire, le foto dell' avanzamento della costruzione.
